The city of Broomfield, CO has chosen to purchase the Stranger Reduction Zone that they have had on loan since October 31st, 2013. The piece was previously scheduled to be removed in October of 2014 but will now remain in place indefinitely. Much thanks to Broomfield for their decision to purchase. Of course I think it was a great move on their part, but it looks like the kids will think so too. Here’s an article written by a father about his son’s experience with the artwork:
